I love the weight and the color and the idea. I can also say the customer service is excellent.I'll start with that last part; somehow the first was broken in transit, not sure how as it was boxed well and box showed almost no damage but I sent the seller a picture (and even offered to send it back) and was told another was on the way and to just toss the broken one. This is why i only give 4 stars as it worries me but so far has held up fine.This stand has tipped a couple of times, both times were mostly my fault for pushing it across the counter but this leads to my first complaint of the base being a bit too narrow, needs to spread out more for better balance.My last complaint is small, but to me is a bit of an issue. The height, as you can see in the picture is a concern and this also goes to the size and stability factor. I think the base should be either large enough to sit a cup or bowl under my brush (to save a little space and let my brush drip somewhere other than the counter) and in making it larger well help with balance when they make it another couple of inches taller and arch the brush holder to keep it out front and allow cup/bowl under it and to lean the razor brace back more so the heavier bladed razors don't have to be balanced with the blade against the metal frame.Obviously these are personal pet peeves but I think most dedicated straight razor guys will agree. Over all though, I am happy with the purchase and it does its job in a quite small area; this is why I bought it and why I'm keeping it.
