These are "single" blade razors, and require a "light touch"; so to those using three-four-five blade razors beware. I was born in 1950, and started shaving with a Schick Injector razor. Even so, I "nicked" myself; under the nose, and about the chin. Still twenty razors for six bucks! I can relearn, and since it is single blade; it is easy to rinse away the beard and Barbasol scuz, that gets trapped between multi blade razors.
